Involution Contemplations

After our night of Witch’s New Year celebration and the turning of light to darker times as we move towards Winter, and we begin again to go inside our Self. It is time again to look at where we have been this year passed and where we are going in the New Year. A new year that will spring upon us at the Winter Solstice when the light begins anew.

Between now and then, we Practitioners review our Magick, Medicine, our purpose, our Path, our Life and all that that entails. We examine everything around us. For the more adept at this involutionary time, it is a matter of listening to Spirit in meditation. Our Higher Self, or Spirit, will show us where we need to Focus, Refocus or Fine Tune our Divine Self. We are shown something we need to examine more each and every time we practice this method of Self Search at Involution. Be mindful, everything we are shown is not always meant for us, but to assist others with. Maybe it is a role in Community, or a BHS. Maybe it is personal development through other avenues. Nor is everything we are shown “for us”. Maybe there is a neglected part of ourselves or Shadow that needs addressing that involves another person. No matter what we are shown, we – if wise --- will look at it closely and grow.

As far as Magick, we take a closer look at what worked for us and what did not. We look at what Medicine we accessed in our Self and that which was presented by Plant, Animal, and Stone Allies. We look at the “why” something did or did not work. Was there enough time? Did we listen to and act upon what we were Divinely asked to do for our highest benefit? Why, or why not? What needed to take place to clear obstacles for that those energies to manifest? Did that we Work to make that happen?

We are all Wise to examine all of our Works every year to improve and strengthen them.

This is what we ask you to do at this time.

General - Journal - Book of Shadows

SUBMISSION: GN1 TUE SHADOW SPELL (Due by Sunday)
Using the Correspondences we have learned throughout our time at 3CMM,
you are asked to Craft a Spell to aid in working with your Shadow AT THIS TIME of Involution
utilizing the following method:

STEP ONE
Draw a card, tarot/oracle/playing, to determine what Higher Self aspect
deems itself necessary to address.
Define what you interpret in the card AND list the artist’s meaning of the card from the book
to determine the Shadow Work that calls for attention during this time.

STEP TWO
Based on the Correspondences we have shared at 3CMM,
utilize THREE to Craft a Spell to aid you
in working with Self during this TIME BETWEEN EQUINOX & SOLSTICE.
