Introduction to Geomancy

GEOMANCYpic.png

A Practitioner’s first introduction to geomancy in Magick is typically via their altar placements at home, work, school, or if they are going to have one.

Geomancy is thousands of years old and has been practiced by many cultures. It is defined as a comprehensive system of conceptualizing the physical environment that regulates human ecology energetically by influencing humanity to select auspicious, or more beneficial and energetic environments. It aids them in where to build structures in a more harmonious way, such as where to place graves, build houses, altars, cities, etcetera, utilizing the natural energetic fields to enhance the energy of what is being built.

CREATING AN ALTAR SPACE
The creation we will be working with is that of a personal “altar”. This can be an altar where we worship a Deity, do our Craft work, inside, outside, an Ancestor Altar, Elemental, etc. As of today, most people keep their altars in their bedrooms as they are not completely known to the public, or family, for their personal practices yet, BUT IT IS COMING. A well thought out altar may even exist “hidden in plain sight”.

In Reverend Richoz’ home, they have a Crafting table that faces North, an Ancestor altar that faces West, a Elemental altar that faces South and their Medicine or Magick is always started in the East and turns in a circle WITH the Earth or “widdershins” (counter-clockwise in Western Esotericism) as that is the way that FEELS most comfortable, so that is the Path that is walked. We each may do the same, or something completely different.

Go with what you feel as you explore.

ALTARS THAT ALREADY EXIST
Many people do not realize they have already built an altar in their homes. Take for example the Ancestor Altar. Practitioners all over the world have a shelf or table or the like, where they display family photos.

Why?

This is where they honor the Elders, Ancestors, etc. Some even light a candle there not even realizing the subconscious action. But do not tell them unless they approach you first! They may not view it as an “altar” or even be a Practitioner of the Arcane Arts. It would then be an “assumption” on your part that they were and that can make for an ugly familial situation trying to tell Aunt Mary she is a Wise One. We may raise someones ire alerting them to such a thing. Simply state something along the lines, “you have a nice family display,” and move on.

WHERE TO BUILD
Ideally, in Geomancy, we have more than three feet — or one choice — to work with. IF this is the case, consider where that space is energetically beneficial for a home (or other) altar.

The general belief is held that the Divine Nature of the Universe is reflected in all that is — all of its parts. Hence, what each Direction means personally and what Path is walked will determine what direction the altar faces.

Spend some time on the energies of each direction, which Element is to be placed there and do what FEELS correct personally, not to someone else. Furthermore, if a specific Path is chosen to walk, refer to their Knowledge as “guidance”. If it does not FEEL correct, do not do it.

Do what you are guided to do!

Moon Phases
Final Recap

New Moon ✫ Witches New Moon ✫ Balsamic Moon ✫ Dark Moon

No matter what name we call it, the New Moon is the first phase of the lunar cycle, starting when the Moon reappears in the night sky after 2-3 days of absent light. This time is known as the ‘Dark Moon’, New Moon, Balsamic Moon, etc. It is a period of new beginnings; therefore, ideal for setting intentions and planting seeds for the future, both literally and figuratively.

Reverend Richoz’s ‘Ritings

Energetically the New Moon is when I ‘release’ things that no longer serve me. a bad habit, a trauma. I do this because the Moon is not full of the Sun’s reflective energy and can receive energies in a more receptive way for me. I feel that Luna is “open to receive” and assist me in healing or transmuting as needed. Her cup is ‘empty’ if you will.”

Absence of Moon Light

As we learned in “Gardening by the Moon” in previous Lessons, the absence of the moon allows the gravitational energy of Earth to pull anything we plant into the ground, making roots, allowing Mother Earth to “pull” with Her energy. It not only aids in establishing the roots of the plant type, but water.

She does the same for us during a Dark Moon. Mother Earth has our energy of Matter “anchored” and we are then able to work with Luna in Spirit energy.

Remember also that the moon moves tides. Just as in the ocean, it is so on the land. The New Moon allows the pull of water into the soil, the plants, lakes, ponds, Animal Allies. As far as Medicine and Magick, allow the imagination to run free and dream a new reality into being.

Can you see it?

This time is perfect for taking those initial steps towards manifesting desires. Envision Self where it desires to be. ✰⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆

Young Moon - Waxing Crescent

The Waxing Crescent Moon is the phase of the lunar cycle in which the Moon grows — or “waxes”. Energies are highly magnetic, making it a good time to perform Additive Magicks, which begin with this phase. Call in what is desired from life. Projects. Plans or emotional wellness and growth mindset like self-love, compassion for others, courage, and concepts such as these do well here.

It is also the time for Plant Allies that are considered “annual flowers”, as well as fruit and vegetables that bear crops ABOVE ground (corn, beans, squash, tomatoes, zucchini, etc.) during the light, or Waxing of the Moon—from the day the Moon is New to the day it is Full.

The energy of the Waxing Crescent is all about going within and ‘pulling’ out what you want more of before you start thinking and envisioning what you want to bring forth from the external world.

Half Moon - First Quarter

While the New Moon is about going within Self and bringing out with the help of Luna’s pull, the First Quarter Moon is all about attraction from the external world.‍ ‍BREATHING IN. It is the optimal time for performing Medicine and Magick that aims to draw things into Self, whether it is a person (partner, friend, client) or success, money, etc. This is also a very conducive time to call back lost things/people/memories.

Waxing Gibbous - Bow Moon

Although this term “gibbous” was first applied to the moon phase name in 1690, it was known over 200 years earlier by colonists. The moon appeared to be “bowing out”, “humped back”, or “protruding”. Prior to that, inside each language family, every tribe of Turtle Island had different words for the moon phases. The words in each language are different but the meanings are exactly the same.

Still in the Additive Magick phase, the energies of the Waxing Gibbous Moon are ideal for giving that extra push to something that has been Magickally or Medicinally Worked on but may have been stagnating with.

If there is struggle with a lack of motivation to finish a project or to stick to a routine, make use of these energies to give a push and help overcome resistance.

“Like blowing out a birthday candle, give a wink and a kiss blown towards Luna to ask for that little extra ‘oomph’.” ~ 3R

MAY - Full “Flower Moon”

Full Moon
Correspondent Names

This phase of the lunar cycle is sometimes the most powerful when aligned with it. It is highly conducive to addressing major challenges, or obstacles or issues one may be having. Maximum potential is energy is nigh! Focus your spells and rituals on things that are of the utmost importance to your life. Also, this time is great for magick and meditations revolving around psychic development, spirituality and divination.

Waning Gibbous

This begins the Subtractive Magick & Medicine After the Full Moon, we enter the ‘waning phase’ in which energies are utilized for repelling (BREATHE OUT), banishing (BREATHE OUT) and destroying that which is unwanted. BREATHE OUT!

Utilize this phase to perform spells and rituals aimed at minor banishing and cleansing, whether in Matter or Spirit, or bringing closure to something that has not been working for a while.

This is also a time for Gratitude and Reflection (BREATHE OUT) for those things that do benefit us. It is wisely spent realizing what those concepts are, introspection and communing with Higher Self can help with gaining clarity on them

Third Quarter - Last Quarter Moon

If we encountered an obstacle or ‘bump in the road’ as we are working and Working towards our goals, this is the perfect time to overcome that obstacle.

“This moon tells us to “hold out breath and jump” becuase She has got us. TRUST. Trust Self and Trust the Universe!” ~ 3R

Utilize spells that aim to boost us over hurdles that may tempt us to give up on our goals. Even we feel like we are “in the Darklands”, do not give up. This energy is strong enough to push us over the obstacle without holding us back when we Trust Self.

“Remember, to be it, ya gotta SEE IT. Can you SEE your Goal? Have you envisioned your success and how it will make you FEEL or THINK. Do not make the mistake of saying “if that happened”… THINK like it already has. Trust.” ~ 3R

The same goes for any transitions that we might be in the midst of –make the best of these energies to smooth out any wrinkles and make the process flow with more ease. NOTE: It is time to be cautiously optimistic. #PlayTheSuccessTapeOut

Many Practitioners utilize this lunar phase in particular to rest or begin resting BEFORE THE DARK MOON INVOLUTION again. Some also use this opportunity to remove themselves from destructive relationships, negative behavior patterns or anything harmful in their life -- PERIOD. Overcome melancholy and depression with ACTiONS. Some even use this time to cast spells for Justice or Truth to be revealed for enemies (i.e. Black Magic).

“Try not to Work with hate or malice in your heart, but pure energy. Work so that their ‘eyes may see’ or their ‘ears may hear’. The revelation of Truth is a heavy burden for most when they have been denying it all along. When it reveals, they can turn on themselves.” ~ 3R

Best spell for the Last Quarter Moon Phase:

Waxing Crescent Moon, Again

As we get closer to the Dark Moon phase again, energies are more suitable for performing bigger Banishings, such as getting rid of anything that has been absorbing Joy from our life, or feeding from our Happiness and draining our energy. (There are negative things that also feed off of our Pain and Fear.)

Now that we have come through all the moon phases and continue to see something regarding our Workings, it is time to consider a new approach and really look for other things that may be blocking our successes, including Self.

If there is anything we wish to cut out from our life, work, school, we can with the energies of this period. Whether it is dropping a dead-end project or ending a toxic relationship or friendship that is harmful –focus spells and rituals on the deliberate dropping of anything that no longer benefits. The hold will virtually be gone.

To see this work manifest or come to fruition, one must do their part as well. No texting. No calling. As little interaction as possible outside of what is required — usually by law, say custody or a job. The transverse is true for success as well. There may be a need for more communication, more texting, calling and interaction. Or, there may be a need for more physical action, like meditation, yoga or exercise. Drinkng more water. Eating healthier. On and on.

It’s me again, Dark Moon.

Dark Moon Magick and Medicine is very different this time, or should be if it is only Self in the way. Think of this zero illumination as BOTH a reflection of Self and symbolic of an empty vessel in which the very last drop has been poured out. The vessel cannot be filled with “new”, until it is emptied of that which is no longer serving us.

So, what blocks you?
How is your vessel? Habit still hanging on?

Holding that energy, we can craft spells for more efficient “pouring out” and releasing what we want to be rid of in order to make the necessary and beneficial changes in Self.

Also for consideration, the Dark Moon is also an ideal time for many dealing with attackers of both Spirit and Matter. It is for exploring our darkest recesses and understanding our angers and passions. (Shadow and Ego Work) It can also bring in Justice that we may need to bear as well. A “fight” is never one sided.

This time is very potent for prophecy Work. Ask for Divine guidance if there are feelings of stagnation or a feeling of not being able to “figure it out”. it is also a prime time for rituals in tune with that, protection, divination or any working that needs extra power.

Please note: While many Practitioners view the moon in this way in Western Culture, other places in the world and some Practitioners of varied Paths view the moon in a completely different “light” and “power”.

Utilize the energy how YOU feel you should.

Cartomancy: Tarot

II - Two - 2

Quite often we can look at a tarot deck drawn in the RWS system and see the symbolism right away. It makes learning the cards much easier, as well as transitioning between tarot and some oracle decks.  It is likened to learning to ride a bike with training wheels, or a governor switch on a go-cart. Once we learn to do it basically, we can do it how we want once we understand the mechanics of a thing, removing the wheels or switch.

As stated before, try to view the cards as we read about them. (We use both the Tarot Guide and Biddy online for the RWS system of cards for this journey.) No matter who or what is preferred for personal divination, look at the card as we read each meaning and decide if an inference of meaning can be seen upon its creation by the artists.

Minor Arcana

Pentacles (Coins, Disks)

BALANCED/EQUAL MATTER

Looking at this card we can see in the background there is a storm brewing on the water. Swells cross behind the juggler.

This card is telling us, or asking us, how we are learning from Experiences of Matter. It can be a sign of beginnings to be, or that it is, very busy juggling “things” in life.

What are you juggling?

Keys:
Juggling – Is the Querent too focused on balance?

Infinity knot - The "infinity knot" (commonly known as the Endless Knot or Eternal Knot) is a profound spiritual symbol representing limitlessness, the eternal cycle of life, and the deep interconnectedness of all things. Because it is drawn as a single, uninterrupted line, it represents eternity and the illusion of time

Questions to ask Self or Querant:
What part of my life is represented by this card? Own it. ID it.

What can I do? Action…

“Drama filled life” – Do you like it?

All card renderings by Reverend Richoz.

Cups (Chalices)

RECIPROCAL EMOTIONS

This card typically represents an Important relationship publicly or personally, unless reversed — it is a good relationship.

It is a beneficial, loving or platonic relationship. This card is telling us that all things can materialize opportunities when the actions between us are reciprocal and mutually beneficial or equal.

This card tells us that we are currently in a mutual alliance with Self or Other but that there is choice to be thought about carefully.

Temporarily we are lull or at peace. But if we hesitate or procrastinate we can place ourselves “between a rock and a hard place” with our indecision or choices.

OTHER IDIOMS THAT MAY APPLY
Devil and the deep blue sea
Choosing lesser of two evils

There may be an undesirable decision that is avoided until time passes, but do not procrastinate options away. Make decision quickly WITH THOUGHT. We DO see clearly — as this card is showing us to FEEL not SEE, as we THINK about our situation.

“Close your eyes and think about it.” (Do not be distracted by the things surrounding the choice.

This card says we have chosen to be here, sit on this bench, so to speak, and with thought and careful consideration, we have the situation under control for now.

Ask yourself, have already taken too much time to make a decision?

Wands (Rods, Staves)

BALANCED CHANGE IS INITIATED

This is a card about bold vision, planning, and standing at the threshold of the unknown. It symbolizes the pivotal moment between having a great idea and actually stepping out of your comfort zone to execute it.

The Two of Wands represents the Fire of Change to transform or transmute the Thought we had in the Two of Swords.

SYMBOLOGY
Wands: New growth and personal
connections. Scholarship, Watching from afar, Waiting.
Belief in a system that has power over our own and the ability to change that system to our benefit. Waiting for our “fruit” to ripen before we can harvest, or NOT waiting. (If reversed) Over hesitant. Soon. Achievement will arrive.

This card tells us we are Divinely Protected.

The Two Wands:
The one in hand represents an inner desire for change, exploration, and directing one's own destiny versus being manipulated by outside circumstances.

The one mounted to the wall, tied or locked to the castle symbolizes the secure foundations we have built are holding up. There is hesitation to leave familiar territory behind for this reason.

We have to ask ourselves, “will the things I have built be here when I return or is this a life transition?”

Marriage: suggested to rethink it
Person practices what they are taught.
Magnificence or suffrage related to ALL cards in spread.

KEY
The cross ROSES and LILIES that are carved as a crossed emblem on the castle wall, remind us to balance the Fire of Change with a Clean, Clear and Curious Intention

All wands are living staffs of life.

Male vs Female energy, Wands are typically masculine energy but it can also mean strong feminine energy is present — seen with the “Lily and Rose” promise throughout this system of tarot.

“Where there is a will, there is a way.”

Major Arcana

II High Priestess

The High Priestess (Card II) is the guardian of the subconscious, intuition, and hidden mysteries. She sits perfectly balanced between dualities, representing the gateway to spiritual enlightenment and inner wisdom.

SYMBOLOGY

B: Boaz : negotiation
J: Joachim: beginning
(Solomonic inscription)

Isis Temple (Where she sits is considered to be)

The High Priestess is considered to be one the scared cards of Major Arcana in RWS system.

Representative of all things, it asks that we always explore for answers or solutions to all issues that benefit the planet as a whole.

KEY
Scholar
Always strive to become more aware of possibilities.

XI Justice
(11= 1+1 = 2)

Although 11 is considered a “sacred number” on some Paths and is NOT reduced, for this purpose of learning, we are.

Two is associated with Tews Day, a deity of Justice. Tews Day is the SECOND day of the American “work week”. We have manifested our own corrupt reality by following blindly along with what has been presesnted to us and NOT aking the questions for our Highest Benefit.

This card represents these concepts:
Subconscious, Potential, Superconsciousness, Law of Three (Wicca), Community Code, Fortitude, Power, Force, Strength, Ostara between pillars of justice, Carefully assesses, concerned about doing things FAIRLY, scaled, weighed.

Coronet: jewel in crown: all humanity is a single radiant soul and we are each a manifestation of Spirit into Matter through that Soul. (This expounds and expands through Yona Circle with Streams of Consciousness)

This card, Justice represents the changeable or mutable around us. The double edged sword reminds us that there are a minimum of “two ways” that anything can go. The two extremes of Justice are the “just” and the “unjust”. Seeking Balance in Justice is crucial to the survival of humans as a species.

Simply a draw, this card represents:
Upright: Positive outcome in legal matters
Reversed: The outcome will not be as favorable. Negotiation may be needed to find or maintain Balance.

XX Judgment
(20 = 2+0 = 2)

This card is often associated with awakening, rebirth, and life-changing decisions being made. How much Thought has been considered?

Largely based on the traditional Christian imagery of the Resurrection and Last Judgment— it encourages us to reflect on our life, forgive ourself, and step into a new chapter.

SYMBOLOGY
The Angel (Archangel Gabriel)
Positioned in the clouds, Gabriel blows a great trumpet to wake the dead who are trapped on Earth, in this realm. This symbolizes a divine, inescapable wake-up call, spiritual awakening, or a moment of profound clarity coming from a higher source.

The Trumpet and Flag
The sound of the trumpet symbolically represents the power of art, music, or a sudden epiphany in Thought that breaks us out of stagnant habits.

“Whoa! I cannot believe I was thinking like that!” (Profound realization)

The flag attached to it features a red cross, which connects the card's themes to divine purpose and spiritual rebirth.

The Rising Dead (All humans)
Nude figures rise from their graves or coffins, looking up at the angel with awe and outstretched arms. Some Practitioners caution against believing that their is only “one way” to salvation, or temperance.

Nudity symbolizes complete vulnerability and the shedding of unhealthy and unhealed
worldly ego.

Rising from the water/graves signifies the subconscious finally releasing old, limiting beliefs.

The three figures (male, female, child) represent a restored, balanced union of mind (a connector), body (Matter), and spirit (Spirit).

The Ocean
The graves emerge from the sea, which is a universal symbol for the subconscious mind and deep emotions.

We have to ask, “are we being deceived by supposed “salvation” when being pulled from out Stream of Consciousness?” Are we being separated from the cycle of What Is by following one concept?

The Snow-Capped Mountains
In the background, rigid, snow-covered mountains mirror the landscape of the Hermit card. They symbolize spiritual stillness, purity, and the finality of an old era. OR, they can symbolize a great fete yet to be overcome. (Compare climbing Mt Everest to kicking a heroin habit. A very difficult task.)

Ultimately, the card is about absolution and moving beyond the past. It indicates that we are being called to evaluate our journey so far, let go of past guilt or judgment, and rise to embrace our true self.

We are both the Trumpeter and the Risen.

Psalm 51:7
"Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow."

“Every Path has a little bit of the Truth, write your own recipe with what feels correct to you”.

Zodiac Moon Magick - Recap

To further enhance our magickal activities and upcoming Partner Spell, we are advised to verify the zodiac sign, as well as the phase that the Moon is in when we perform any Medicine or Magick. (Recall how we just explored this.)

Each zodiac sign is connected to at least one Element, at least one Celestial Body, and has specific qualities that can be accessed to our advantage.

Following is the list of signs and their energetic imprints that can be applied to our practices.

Aries

Considered the “First Sign” as it is at Degree 1 in the “Round Art”, Aries is a Fire sign ruled by Mars. It is considered to govern initiative, action and impulses. The time of Aries, whether the Sun or Moon is passing the constellation, is the perfect time to perform Protection rituals or rituals for control, power, strength, lust, sex, and passion. #Transmutive

 Taurus

Taurus is an Earth sign ruled by Venus –the optimal time for performing rituals around relationships and money. Thanks to Taurus’ quality of stubbornness, rituals performed at this time may result in high-effectiveness and positive long-term results. #Grounding

Gemini

The zodiac sign Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, intellect, and mental agility, Gemini is an Air sign which, because of its ability to have a dual nature, Working in this sign may present difficulty with controlling the direction of our Work, Medicine or Magick if not guided by other correspondences or Intention. However, it presents a good opportunity for rituals surrounding creativity, fresh ideas and travel. Just stay Clean, Clear and CAUTIOUS to remain aware of its shifting qualities.

Cancer

Cancer is ruled by the Moon. which is considered a ruling luminary and governs emotions, intuition, inner desires, and maternal/nurturing energies. Cancer is also a Water sign further related to feelings or emotions. Cancer provides a good time for rituals concerning emotions connected to family, domestic life, and abundance.

Leo

Leo is a Fire sign and is ruled by the Sun which represents vitality, ego, identity, and the core essence of who Leos are. This rulership is largely responsible for Leo's famous characteristics, including natural leadership, confidence, and a radiant, magnetic personality.

This energy is great for performing spells and magic aimed at your career, courage and leadership.

Virgo

A mutable Earth sign ruled by Mercury, Virgo has a high degree of mental influence; therefore, this time is perfect for performing rituals involving a great deal of detail. Use the energies of the Moon in Virgo to cast spells revolving around health, healing and education.

Libra

Libra’s, also ruled by Venus, is a Cardinal Air sign. It has energies that are conducive to balancing any extremes in our life. Rituals involving relationships, partnerships and romance can be extremely fruitful if performed under the Libra Moon. Represented by the Scales of Justice, it also has connections to Harmony, Balance, and beauty in all aspects of life.

Scorpio

When the Moon is in the Water sign of Scorpio, it is the perfect time to work with psychic powers, divination and the most advanced rituals. Due to its potent sexual energy that sometimes arises in this sign, Scorpio is also conducive to performing spells regarding impotence or fertility. Originally ruled by Mars, it had Pluto added upon its discovery. (Both are still valid.)

Sagittarius

Represented by the Archer, a mutable Fire sign ruled by lucky Jupiter, Sagittarians are known for their boundless optimism, adventurous spirit, and relentless quest for Truth and knowledge.

Fire sign Sagittarius carries a particularly strong intellectual influence, which may be beneficial when performing spells and rituals aimed at legal issues, truth, education and protection.

Capricorn

Although not as stubborn as Taurus, the cardinal Earth energies of Capricorn ruled by Saturn are suitable for performing Medicine or Magick concerning organization, stability and ambition.

Aquarius

Despite its "water-bearer" symbol and aqua prefix, it is actually a fixed air sign. Aquarians are known for being fiercely independent, progressive, and deeply humanitarian thinkers

Ruled by Uranus (modern) and Saturn (traditional), the energies of the Moon in Aquarius, Air, are great for casting spells revolving around friendships, overcoming addiction and creating psychic abilities.
(
Again, both planets are egreggoricly valid.)

Pisces

Ruled by Neptune, this mutable Water sign is symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions. It is known for its boundless imagination, deep empathy, and psychic intuition

When the Moon enters the sign of Pisces, it is optimal time to perform Mental Magick, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, lucid dreaming, divination, communication with spirits, etc

Universal Correspondences

Although we have been given and have seen dozens and dozens of correspondences at 3CMM for Magick and Medicine, only two of them are really needed to boost what is Divinely inside of ALL of us according to many Paths.

PINE

QUARTZ

Both of these items vibrate with the purist of Spiritual Intent across Mother Earth. They are Earth and Water, we EACH are Fire, Air and Spirit. We can also look at each of these as being influenced by the other, too.

Tree of Earth, grows with Water, breathes Air and is pulled to the Heaven’s Fire. (Sun) It is innately believed to have Spirit.

Stone of Earth, forged in Fire, cleansed in the Water of Earth, and then exposed to the Air of manifestation into our lives, a Spirit.

Add to that anything.

PINE
This is an extremely long-living tree which is held in great esteem by many cultures around the world.

Its Magickal properties include longevity, fertility, cleansing, clearing, protection and joy among others. It can even help in banishment.

Medicinally, it can help to fight colds and coughs as well as potentially improving memory and preventing scurvy due to its high vitamin C content.

QUARTZ
This white or clear crystal is considered a master healer”.

Magickally, it is said to amplify energy by absorbing, storing, releasing, and regulating it. It also cleans, clears and protects. It also aids concentration and memory.

In Medicine, physically, clear crystals help stimulate the immune system and balance out your entire body.

Both of these magickal items are extremely useful and plentiful for all of us, free, from Mother Earth.

Days of the Week

There is a wonderful practice of following the days of the week and using the power of the planets and even the God/dess that the planets are associated with based on what day it is. Each day of the week provides an opportunity for magick. Some of the day namings are obvious in English. Sunday is named for the Sun and is a “masculine’ energy day.

Monday is named for the Moon and is a “feminine” energy day.

Tuesday is Mars’ day (It is still Mardi in French, hence, Mardi Gras.)

Wednesday is named after Mercury, the equivalent Anglo-Saxon God to Wodan, who is often considered the same as the Norse God Odin.

Thursday is named for Jupiter, also after a Norse God, Thor.

Friday is named for Venus around the world, here in the Northern Hemisphere we have named it for Freya.

Saturday for Saturn.

Also consider the meanings of the names of days in other cultures and Paths.

Moon Aligning

The Moon corresponds to certain Elements, Plant Allies, Animal Allies, various Deities and other energies that are sometimes quite important if we need some extra oomph, or are looking for something that we just cannot seem to find.

Feel free to adapt and change these to accommodate for the Path chosen to walk OR what there is around the area. There are ALWAYS equivalent needs. Here are some Medicinal and Magickal correspondences for Lunar Workings:

HERBS & PLANT ALLIES
vervain, moonflower, jasmine, lemon balm, cabbage, camellia, camphor, chickweed, moonwort, gardenia, grape, lemon, passion flower, turnip, potato, pea, cucumber, pear, peach, willow, poppy, mountain ash, mango, wallflower, rowan, cactus

ANIMAL ALLIES

STONE ALLIES
moonstone, selenite, obsidian, silver, mother-of-pearl, aquamarine, gold beryl, topaz, emerald, clear quartz, coral, pearls

Those named by NO MEANS constitute a “full list” nor do they govern how one Intuitively FEELS.
Go with that!
