Occult in Islam
Divination, Talismans and Amulets

In the United States of America, Practitioners are heavily influenced by Western Occult or European Occult. In being so, it is difficult for many to see the mysticism that already exists around the world. This is some of the same mysticism seen on the walk we took around the world in Wahya Circle and re-explored in some places in Golanv Circle. Many places do not shun Practitioners of alternate or non-mainstream practices as the media would lead you to believe. Remember the “Whispering Witches”? Those of other countries know these Practitioners to be true and beneficial to the people on a whole. We have been conditioned, just as others, by certain misogynistic and Ego driven dogmas and those who colonized to shun these practices and view them as ‘evil’ or ‘wrong’ when in fact, they are not.

In the podcast below, a strong Practitioner by the name of Liana Saif speaks on Islamic Mysticism, amulets, talismans and how they are viewed inside the faith, and have been viewed for thousands of years.
