Beginning Practicum
Water Sprays

As we are learning, Element Water likes to be a part of everything here on Earth, as… well, it IS part of most everything! Water can be Intented for any purpose or any use and is available to all beings. We simply imbue it with the desired qualities we need. NO ONE has to be the wiser. We each are simply “misting” a plant, cleaning the room, ourselves, etc. It can be a personally made spray or store bought, it just has to have the Intent YOU give it. (The type of ingredients from our Plant Allies help too!)

Correspondences of Water

This is by NO MEANS a “complete” list, plus we each vibrate with various Plant Allies in different ways. Consider that.

Here are just a few of the many ways we are able to utilize Water in our Magick and Medicine for our Medicine & Magick: (All sprays are Water based and infused with a drop or two of oil, essence, or the macerated plant itself.)

Single Plant Ally Waters

Abundance: Mint

Banish: Rosemary or Frankincense

Cleanse: Sage (Planetary)

Happiness: Citrus or Bamboo.

Health: Saffron

Knowledge: Cinnamon

Peace: Lavender

Self Love: Rose

Florida Water: (A “recipe” was given previously) Cleansing. Peace. Protection.

Holy Water: Consecrated Water: Cleansing. Consecration of tools for darker works. Protection. Angelic energies.

Moon Water: Consecration. Empowerment. Feminine Energy. Grounding.

Sun Water: Consecration. Empowerment. Masculine Energy. Grounding.

Keep in mind, these are just a suggestion. Depending on where we live will determine what is natural and what can be grown easily in our area. Practitioners agree that the Plant Ally closest to its home is the strongest energetically.

Water in Magick – Self Blessing Through Invocation (Self Initiation)

Water Magick is one of the easiest to practice. Whether we live in a desert, or on an ocean, water is everywhere and in every thing, including us.

We further understand that Water can manifest in many forms. It appears as perspiration from hiking in the desert, to something or someone becoming wet from the rain or snow, all the way to the fog that just rolled in off the lake or river. It can all be imbued with Intent. A strong Practitioner can even imbue the ice crystal tail of a comet with the power of their Medicine or Magick to manifest their Intent!

No matter where we are, no matter what time of year, we can do this simple Water Blessing. For us, this time, this is also going to serve as our Self Initiation. A PROMISE TO SELF.

To Begin

Read through this entire passage BEFORE enacting any physical Magick or Medicine.

If it is precipitating outside in any form, set out a bowl. Do consider the Intent, and how the time of day may weaken or boost it. Which power are you calling? Masculine or Feminine, or both? Otherwise, we can simply utilize tap water, which we know comes from Mother Earth as we live on a closed-system planet.

Steps Continued

Once you have collected the Water,
thank it for joining you.

Sit in a quiet place and dip your fingertips in the Water. Imbuing the Water with the Intent you need for each of your energy centers to work on for this spell’s purpose. “Healing”, “Self-Love”, etc. For the Highest Intent of this Work, it is “Self Initiation”. #PromiseToSelf

Removing your fingertips with Water on them, begin at your Crown chakra – anointing the top of your head.

“Water to my Spirit for (…) to flow forth” (Name Intent)

From there, move to your Third Eye chakra on your forehead.

“Water to my Mind for … to flow forth”

Next, touch your Throat chakra/energy center with the Water.

“Water to my Throat for … to flow forth”

Then you will move to your Heart chakra in the center of your chest.

“Water to my Heart for … to flow forth”

Slide your hand to your abdomen for the Solar Plexus near your navel.

“Water to my Belly (Solar Plexus) …to flow forth.”

Keeping your fingertips blessed with the Water, continue anointing yourself, moving to the Sacral chakra. This is between two inches below the navel and the mons pubis, or the bony prominence (“mound”) found BEFORE reaching the sex organ.

“Water to my Sacrum … to flow forth.”

Moving to your Root chakra, focus here as this is where the most damage occurs energeticall as we are manifested in life, and that produces blockages. Meditate to clear this out BEFORE blessing it with Intent. The root chakra is perceived as the first of our seven chakras by most and picks up the most clutter. It is the ground floor of your chakra system. It is located at the base of your spine.

Some of the corresponding energetic body areas and organs are the pelvic plexus, the last 3 vertebrae, the anus, large intestine, feet and legs. These are considered our “mundane workhorse” chakras. We need this chakra. Root, to be cleared on a regular basis when there is Shadow or Ego Work that remains to be done related to these areas.

“Water to my Root chakra … to flow forth.”

Now placing your fingertips into the Water, say these words or something to their effect to Initiate or Promise to Self and close the spell:

“Made too of Water, the source of all our life… I seek the blessing of this Invocation and Initiation of Self, a Promise for this night.

Hear me now and the words I say, I love me,
Honoring Self every day.”
(Speaking to Water or your Divine.
Yes. You may add words and personalize this in any way that calls to you.)

As I Will It, So Will It Be.”

Write about this Experience in your Journal or Book of Shadows. If this works for you, it is advised that you keep it as a “positive result” spell for future use, re=anointing Self, etc. If it does not work for you, do not throw it out. This type of invocation can also be used with that needed Shadow or Ego Work with the chakras where it is needed when blockages are found.

Below (bottom of page) is a chart that lists the chakra, or energy center, and what that energy lends its power to for most Paths. If there is something mentioned that relates to the Final Spell you are doing, it is advised to use knowledge such as this to clear out the blockages BEFORE casting in February for the year to come. It is also suggested to keep for use with Shadow Work and Ego Work in healing specific areas as blockages are listed. Choose what resonates with you.
