Red Path Animal Medicine

As previously stated, each of us stands at the center of our Circle, forever emanating energy out into the cosmos, and absorbing as we seek to balance our Experiences. We are eternal Beings having this Experience of Life. The Red Path is that …of “Life”, or Matter.

We understand that the Red Path, or Road, is for those who wish to Experience Life, hopefully to its fullest and to the Highest Benefit. It is our Experience in Matter. We are still to be Guided to walk this Path as none has come forward to date who contains or holds the Knowledge of ALL “ages and stages” for our species. Because of this, the Animal Allies we meet here will continue to help us have successful Experiences in Matter if we explore with them and heed their Lessons and Wisdom.”

Animal Allies of the Red Path

Going into October, we are going into the Month of the Goddess, Divine Feminine. We will begin to notice a strong presence of this Life Force. They are a powerful group of Beings. These are the Animal Allies found around the world that are often associated with the Path. Before we explore them, we acknowledge that we know the Red Path is representative of our interactions with Matter on the Sacred Circle or Medicine Wheel.  The direction most received starts in the East with Divine Birth, our Manifestation into Matter.

It is signified by the First Animal of the Red Path. As embryos, we embody the speed and rapidity of Hummingbird. Our metabolisms are up in utero. We are tiny, just as the other Beings often begin — tiny. We are to be idealistically born out of Love. Divine, Unconditional Love. We are fierce fighters when we are small, just as the Hummingbird. Animal Allies of the Red Path

Just as stated before, as we select the representative stones of one Animal Ally at a time, or as they appear to us, we are to learn all that we can about them. Feel the way through with Intuition.

What is their behavior? Are they aggressive? Docile? Where is their home, or mating location? What sounds do they make? What food do they eat? What part of the day are they most active?

A wonderful example of this — rabbits. Most of us have rabbits on our land. We learned that most are active at dawn and dusk. but like the dark too. It is easier to run from certain predators. So, what are their predators? Not everyone will Intuitively see the same Allies. That is okay. Focus on the Path we are walking and take note of other Allies if they appear instead of the ones listed. Take note of the differences. They could indicate work that is unfinished for our Journey during this Manifestation.

Just like the Tarot cards, ask Spirit what each Animal Ally is communicating in a card, and write down what is Intuitively gleaned. The same goes for this. Talk to who appears. Get to know them. <3 As they are explored, a Stone Ally will reveal itself in Correspondence to stand on a Medicine Wheel for each Practitioner — for the Animal Ally.

#11 Medicine Stone of Hummingbird
TIRELESS JOY
Hummingbird Spirit Animal is a messenger of Good Luck, Joy, and Love. Such an apropos Spirit to begin our Manifestation of Matter. Hummingbird is there as we are taking our initial Breath of Life with Element Air. We barrel into Experience many times, filling the lungs we fashioned using our Spirit of Fire, our Phoenix, to Rise again. Element Air fills those lungs with our First Breath, and Hummingbird is there.

This mighty little bird is also a symbol of beauty, playfulness, and resilience. Those with Hummingbird as their continuous Spirit Animal tend to be happy sorts of Beings. On even other Paths the Hummingbird represents intelligence and devotion also. These little birds are also respected as fierce fighters and defenders of their territory.

They teach us to Protect our Sovereignty. Seeing one of these birds before an event, such as a hunting trip, or traveling, is considered a good sign. CREATE YOUR OWN MEDICINE. When you are working with Hummingbird, you are asked to consider the Magick & Medicine of other Paths. The Hummingbird is known to NOT fly so straight but is precise in changing directions. Explore other Paths. Hummingbird Medicine is also known to be connected to Fae, Rain, Rainbows and Endurance as well.

12 Medicine Stone of Eagle - Warrior Spirit
Illumination of Spirit. Resurrection. Element Water. For most of us, we have already taken the First Breath of Manifestation of Matter. If we have not, and Hummingbird or Butterfly have already visited while we were in utero, Eagle may come at birth when the Water “breaks”. We are Protected even more greatly because when we are young, we continue to have the Vision of whence we came. We remember the Way. Some of us remember very vividly. Our Caregivers poo poo the memories we speak of, the details, the feelings. They discourage us, most times out of fear and misunderstandings. Quite often, if a child is born to someone of a current Patriarchal Path, we scare those Caregivers with our remembering. What we clearly possess does NOT align with where our species is falsely holding itself in its beliefs.

Eagle Medicine is strong between the worlds, shapeshifting as needed. It brings us Awareness, Diligence, Personal Visions and Understanding on our Journeys. Heroic nobility is seen when walking with Eagle as well as the traits of Freedom, Spirit and Self Expression being empowered. Eagles also have a solid connection to the Element of Air. This connection reminds us that we are more than just physical Beings; we have a spiritual side as well. Our thoughts and intentions create who we become. Is your foundation solid? Eagle Medicine brings us Purification as we Journey onward.

Remember, we are Spirit Experiencing Matter. As we seem to be growing and moving through our Experience of our Matter, Raven Spirit walks with us, helping us to shapeshift into what is needed to most benefit our Journey. Raven Medicine brings Insight, Intelligence, Prophecy, and Transformation. It can also represent long-term success in love and finding devoted, faithful partners. Ravens are happier when they are with one versus always in a group. People with a Raven Spirit Animal prefer quiet over noise and stillness over constant movement. Is someone mimicking you, or someone else? Do you need to change behaviors?
Raven is FEARLESS in stirring Magick. It empowers Manifestations of Matter as our Journey.

BALANCING MEDICINE
Owl Medicine covers everything from Astral Projection to Death, and all matters of engaging with Spirit from Matter.
Owls are Messengers of the Spirit realm too. They can appear as a symbol during challenging times in our Manifestations as a Guide. Unlike any other Animal Ally, they are known to represent or reveal Truth, Patience, Understanding, and Wisdom. This is especially true of times we have great need. Owl Medicine is most often associated with Clairvoyance, Astral Projection, and ALL Magick. Owl is called Night Eagle on several Medicine Wheels used by many tribes. Traditionally, Owl sits in the East, the place of illumination.

The Crow Animal Spirit (Totem) flies between the worlds and has the freedom to go in either direction. Crow Medicine exists in a neutral space rather than exerting active energy.  The Lesson Crow brings is about learning how to steer your life in the directions you want it to go. Crow Medicine is a witness to all explorations and holds extreme paradoxes in neutrality.  You most messages at the edges of shadows, shorelines, and the boundaries where textures shift and contrast.  

Crow Medicine is where differences begin as you cross the Red Path of your Medicine Wheel of Life.  Contrast is one of the only ways to have a physical Experience of life. Without contrast, we would be two-dimensional events, compulsive and inevitable.  Crow Medicine is the black void of neutrality that holds all contrast and all choices.  

It is representative of ALL potentiality that we can manifest as we move through our Experiences. 

Impartial, Crow knows that under every situation, all is well.  It is the act of choosing that allows us to Experience for ourselves the process of coming into harmony with the primary law of Unconditional Love at the base of all that is.  Love is the quantum material that comprises The Great Mystery of being.  It is the space and freedom to try.  No matter what happens, there is no event larger than the space of love that contains it.  

All discord will eventually return to harmony.  As the weave their song of Experience for us.

Differences are not obstacles keeping us from what we want, but are the materials we use to sculpt into existence what we want our world perspective to be. Everyone gets to sculpt and create as they see fit.  This is the law of Crow Medicine.

CAWING
The Cawing of the Crow clears a space of any built-up frustration. Our cawing can do the same when working with this Animal Ally.  Crow Medicine is Cleansing and at times Transmutative. 

Crow asks us to take stock of our Journey before moving forward once in a while.  Placing our thoughts on paper creates a contrast for us to see our perspective clearly as we Journey.  Finding the positive attributes to the list of complaints helps us locate new perspectives and lifts us out of the current of negativity.

Crow Animal Spirit teaches us to not pick at things that DO NOT benefit us.  Fly away from that frustration to the Experiences that are desired.   Crow holds the space for that freedom to move closer or farther away from alignment with our true self. By the gift of the space, Crow offers for us to safely investigate any strange substance or intense relationship.  We are free to engage the world as we choose.  It is our act of choosing that determines the nature of our experiences. The gift Crow offers is the freedom to explore confusion and find clarity.  When you accomplish this, you know without doubt that it was you who found your way.  The law of crow medicine reconciles the paradox of unfathomable violence occurring simultaneously on a planet with indescribable joy.  Such contrast confounds the human spirit and sends us into despair.  Crow holds the space for that despair so we can experience the ultimate truth of life for ourselves.  The ultimate truth of life is the Law of Love.

How do you feel about the dark?  Does it scare or excite?  Crow asks you to recognize the darkness for what it is- a thing as yet unknown, made of love. The attitude with which you approach the unknown has everything to do with what you get from it.  Entering the darkness with a fear of pain will maintain the darkness and increase the pain, driving you to locate your inherent guidance system out of the dark. Recovery is ultimately the true destination of all our pain, but Crow’s medicine shows that you are free to take as long as you like exploring its opposite.  You are also free to stop exploring pain and deliberately seek joy.  Crow is the holder of the Laws of Nature which often differ from the laws of man.  The laws of man are negotiable.  The laws of cosmic nature are not.   If you climb a mountain and fall into a crevasse, that situation is between you and the Laws of that rock.  There is no negotiating with the rock.  There is only negotiating the limitations of your mind to find a way through the reality of what is. But despite the intense frustration that rock might cause, Crow teaches that the fundamental law underlying all laws is the Law of Love. Love is what all things emerge from and it is what all things return to.  It is your choice how far away you venture from this ultimate reality.

Walking the Red Path, we have been introduced to the Guides of early Life. As we cross our threshold into the West, we begin to see more Animal Alies of Emotional energies and representative of a time when feelings in varied ways are more diverse, but all very valid as they are our feelings.

Spiritual Rebirth and Protection : Some cultures view the turtle as a symbol of spiritual rebirth and transformation. The turtle has the ability to submerge underwater and then resurface, which represents renewal and spiritual protection. THIS is the major reason we see Turtle as we wind down on our Red path of Life and Experience. We are preparing to transition and the Animal Allies located here can assist us to do that. We are taught by Turtle to remain steadfast to the last breath, remaining tranquil as we transition, healing all of the energy we have scattered for this Experience so that we may reclaim lost parts of Self in Shadow for this Life as the less “baggage” you carry, the easier the transition to your next destination.

Frog Medicine is very powerful Medicine and Magick. This is especially known amongst us who use drumming. This Animal Ally, especially the Wood Frog, responds well to shamanic drumming. It is very potent Healing Magick and Medicine from my personal Experience.

Frog Medicine challenges us to release those emotions of Life that no longer serve or benefit us like Anger, or Jealousy. It challenges you to Heal Hatred and Bitterness OR any emotions that may be holding us back. It brings about restoration, renewal, transformation, and even metamorphosis when we do. Frog asks us to do the work needed to NOT carry unnecessary energies into our next manifestations.

20 Medicine Stone of Skunk
SENSUALITY.  RESPECT.
This animal is indicative of energy required to bring us from Matter back into Spirit.  It tells us while we are wise to Protect our Sovereignty, we are wise to continue respect for both Self and Earth around us even as we Journey to other planes.  Skunk Medicine is full of SELF ESTEEM and is SELF ASSURED. It ALWAYS GIVES A WARNING. Skunk says to us, “stay adaptable.”

We are gaining Spiritual growth. How one treats others matters. And, with how one treats others in mind, Skunk Medicine helps us to regulate our energetic flow—bringing those close who will feed and nurture us and push those away who simply take from our energy and pull on our emotions. Skunk Medicine is looking at all of our relationships as we transition to Later Life, Rest or Reincarnation.

The Skunk Animal Ally is calm, fearless, and patient. If this is our Spirit Animal, we know how to stand our ground and defend ourself if necessary. We are also aware of our power and use it wisely. We attract people with quiet strength, and they respect us for it. We are prepared for our transitory phase.

While this Magick and Medicine is meant to sustain your for all time, it is not taught through Time. Our Caregivers, Ancestors, even our Self, does not walk the “map” that has existed for tens of thousands of years.

Each Path, each Direction, each Ally, each Stone, all of it, is your Free Willed choice to manifest. Holding this Knowledge with you for ALL lifetimes is precludes to have. The Allies as they have been presented are done so in the way they were presented to Reverend Richoz. Each of you may have Animals and their Allies appear in lieu of hat appears for someone else. That is how it is supposed to be. You are walking your Circle, not someone else.
