Taking Stock

We hinted at this yesterday in a way. We recognize that most of you have been at this for some time, having walked Wahya Circle (First Degree), Golanv Circle (Second Degree), and now walking Yona Circle or towards your Third Degree equivalent. With that stated, we are also wise to recognize that every once in a while, even in the mundane, we are to stop and take stock of our personal practices, especially if we have been at a repeated routine for several years. Remember, “Change is a Universal Constant”. There are MANY things to consider in keeping our energy strong and homeostatic in a way that benefits both our GROWTH and EXPANSION as a Practitioner; as a human.

Here are the questions we ask all Third Year Practitioners/Yona Circle Path walkers:

Are my spiritual/magickal interests changing? Have they already changed? Why?

Are my values changing, or being challenged, on my Path and why? Or, why not?

Is my personality effected by my practice or is it fluid, melding well with the Path I choose to walk?

What are my magickal strengths? Weaknesses? What Craft do I need to focus more on —or lean a little more to improve my practice of it? (Give it its due.)

What further education do I need to enhance my Medicinal or Magickal Path? Do I need to better “hard skills” or “soft skills”? (Hard: Acquired through study, Soft: Innate or learned from doing. We studied these in Golanv Circle)

What type of Practitioner am I? Am I a “thinker” exploring the Paths that open before me? Am I a “doer” in practicing all the Craft that I can, regardless of Knowledge?

Am I a natural leader or born follower? Somewhere in between?

Do I prefer to practice alone or with others? Depends on?


Yes. We have already begun asking questions of all of you, and with good reason. The concepts we are going to study require MORE of your mind than you have given to this point. They are going to require more Time than you have given to this point.

Take stock.

Do you have it to spare? Is the growth of your whole Being afforded this opportunity without making something else suffer?
