Medicine Wheel Concepts II
The indigenous inspired concept of the Sacred Circle, Hoop or Medicine Wheel, symbolically represents a nonlinear model of human development. Each cardinal compass direction on the offers Practitioners Lessons and gifts that support the development of a balanced individual in that space.
Imagine if you will, standing at the center of the Wheel, your representative, your map. The idea is to remain balanced at the center while developing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of one’s Stream of Consciousness. The concept of the varies among all Native peoples: different groups attribute different gifts to different positions. When you work with your Wheel or Circle, FEEL what is most beneficial for YOU and adjust accordingly.
