Ancestor Veneration

Who Sits at Your Table?

At this time in the Northern Hemisphere, many cultures and religions have similar practices of Ancestor Veneration. As we have learned, just before Winter Solstice, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted away from our Star Sol as far as it can be without killing all life around us. We are protected most days from its immense radiation and EMF pollution that interfere with our psychic abilities.

With all of this in mind, what is your plan before we tilt again into our “growing season” of Abundance on Mother Earth?

Are you going to pay a visit to your Psychic Altar, call in some Ancestors, Divine for the year? Do you plan to do as some and visit the graves of relatives, friends, or other Ancestors? Will you leave flowers and pray to them in order to honor and remember them? Will you picnic? Light candles? Will you consider asking your Ancestors to continue to look after you?

How do you celebrate and acknowledge the energies and entities that have carried you through your year? Has this practice changed or evolved since you began the practice?
