Banishment II

As we have learned in previous Lessons, Plant Allies have stood by us, helping us to achieve the means to our ends, publicly and privately, for all time. Standing here at the beginning of a new year, not quite imbued with our full Intent, we see that we may need a push. We think back over years passed and determined how it has cycled again. We see what happened as “hind-sight is always 20/20”. We now see we need something to aid us. So, we Craft.

Along the way, those Plant Allies mentioned above were deemed with negative monikers like ‘deadly’ or ‘poisonous’. Those Allies that have acquired said monikers are also known as ‘botanical toxins’. They have been called upon for thousands of years to share this trait, or its ‘alkaloid’ —reely with us. (Well, we have to harvest it.) In the smallest amounts, the most significant effects that these plants have on animals are with brain chemistry.

Five milliliters. Or, about one teaspoon. Remember?

That is all it takes. This of course bundles well with its other correspondences:
Protection, Banishing, and various Root Work.

It can also be used in Sympathetic Magick to bring harm to another by creating something akin to “elf bolts” of sharpened flint, sharpened sticks, or needles and pins dipped in wolfs-bane tincture and piercing a poppet with your chosen Intent for example.

Know that your poppet is not your only representative of Magick in Banishment. You can use any item to stand in for another when Banishing habits, you simply have to tell the item what you are imbuing it with.
(Remember your Early Signs of toxicity if you are actually using wolfsbane in your work. Early signs are: Nausea, vomiting, frothing (thickening sputum), cramps, etc. ) USE GLOVES

INFORMATION FOR SPELL OF SPIRIT OR MATTER:

INTENT: For target X to completely go away from my life and the life of those around me. (Wolfsbane is a neurogenic (brain) and cardiogenic (heart) toxin. It should NEVER be burned indoors. If it is burned outdoors, the Practitioner MUST remain upwind so the toxic air does not blow onto them. Lore says it acquired its name from the poisoning of wolves by farmers and to treat ‘lycanthropy. (Poisoning wolves. ( reserving opinions ) The life of X, or the lives of others around them, may or may not matter to other Practitioners.

SUPPLIES:
BLACK CANDLE
WOLFSBANE (DRIED) (You can sub, just confer with your Higher Self, Deity or Guides FIRST.)
OIL OF ROSEMARY
You have the discretion to add up to three more correspondences or “extras” to this spell.

CORRESPONDENCES:
DEITY: JANUS (January)
MOON: You choose
DAY: You choose

After safely collecting the above, cleansing, clearing and grounding, Cast your Circle and call upon Janus. Give offerings if called for.

WORDS:
(You may rewrite the words per your Path, they MUST keep the same Intent.)

”Janus, God of Crossroads, I call upon YOU, carry through my Work.

Janus, God of Seeded New Beginnings, I call upon YOU, raise the fruit of my labor.

Come forth and empower my Will and Work! Make it so!

Candle of Black, you are Intented to banish X (insert what you are Banishing here) from my life!

Upon you are the powers I deem so!

Oil of Rosemary, you are tasked so that X may psychically feel the burn of my banishment! The Fire of my rage!

Wolfsbane, your energy is called upon to sicken X from my presence, from my thought, FROM MY LIFE! Burn this banishing poison into their being!

As I Will It, So Will It Be!”


Allow the candle to burn down completely, noting the flame and wax. This can tell how strong the spell may be. Upon completing, scrape the remnants into the trash and say:

“To the Filth Eater these remains. So Will It Be.”
(We all know, or should, this is one of the many avatars of Hekate, a counterpart or “in the family of” multifaceted and faceted Gods and Goddesses.)

Cleanse, clear and ground. You and your space. You may or may not set a time frame on works such as this but if Intent is strong enough, it should transpire quickly and results can be seen.

Anything not mentioned in this Banishment Magick Spell is left to the discretion of the Practitioner and their Path.

ALTERNATE METHOD
Every Practitioner may substitute any correspondence with the Universal Correspondences as long as you IMBUE EACH ITEM WITH YOUR INTENT AND INFORM THE PLANT OR STONE ALLY OF WHAT THEY ARE STANDING CORRESPONDENT TO.

ALTERNATE EXAMPLES
A medicine cup with 5mL of Water or Water with dried Wolfsbane in a secure location AWAY from accidental ingestion. Once evaporation completes the spell is cast.

A paper towel or napkin wet with 5mL of Water or Water and Wolfsbane, allowed to dry to cast the spell.

A Plant Ally specifically or a permitted substitute must be used.
(You may use tomato as its cousin to stand in. Simply imbue it with its task.)

If you did neither last time, CHOOSE ONE.
Banishing is a useful skill to have amongst your Knowledge.
