Winds of Change
A couple of definitions to keep in mind as we move forward into our future endeavors, whatever those may be to you:
Head Winds: a wind blowing from directly in front, opposing forward motion.
In Magick, or Medicine, this can be a thought that needs banishing, or even an idea about Self that no longer serves you.
Tail Winds: a wind blowing in the direction of travel of a vehicle or aircraft; a wind blowing from behind.
In Medicine and Magick this can be an unresolved issue. Maybe an incorrect choice (thought) was made. It needs to be resolved before you can move forward.
Whether sailing, or flying, its always good to know your winds, or to know what we are dealing with. They can both hurt and help us when traveling on our Journey, in any way through this Experience of Matter. Element Air speaks loudly this time of year and reminds us to look back and adjust our sails … or mind where we are flying, to not jeopardize our take-off into the new year.
As we are nearing the end of our walk together at Wahya Circle = First Degree, one of the winds we like to adjust for as we move forward is the one found blowing from way back on the very first Lesson given in April of last year. Remember it?
You are tasked with going back, rereading, looking over, remembering where you were when read the words written there the FIRST time and the thoughts they invoked. Were you ready? What would you tell someone coming to walk this Circle behind you? What did you feel? Share your Wisdom with 3CMM!
